Step-by-step instructions:
To create a challenge on the web application, click on the "+" in the top right corner and then select "Challenge" from the menu.
Select if you want to compete individually or as a team.
If you select a team challenge, you need to decide the size of each team. You can set the team size anywhere from 2 to 10 members. In a team challenge, the team's points are based on the average of all members.
Next, you must select the type of challenge. If you'd like the challenge to have a set goal to reach (e.g. earn 150 points every week), choose "Set a target to meet". If you'd like the competition to be based on earning the most points, choose "Most points wins".
If you select "Set a target to meet", you must decide the frequency of the goal (daily, weekly, monthly, or total).
Next, you need to select what activities or categories will be a part of your challenge. You can select up to five activities OR one category (you cannot select an activity and a category).
OR
For a goal challenge (you set a target to meet), you will need to decide the quantity for each activity (e.g. how much of the activity you need to track) to achieve the goal.
For example, for a daily goal, if we selected "meditation" as the activity, we would have to decide how many minutes we want to complete each day. Instead, if we selected the entire "Feel" category, we would have to decide how many points we want to earn from that category each day to meet the goal. Note: This step is only required for goal challenges since a competition challenge has no upper limit.
Next, select your start date and how long you want the challenge to run for. Keep in mind if you have a weekly or monthly frequency setting, your duration should be for at least 1 week or 1 month.
To finalize your challenge, upload a photo (optional) and update the name and instructions. You can also add a description (optional).
By default, individual-based challenges will be set to "private". To make the challenge "public", select the toggle to turn it on.
Team-based challenges will always be public. There will be no option available to make them private.
Click "Create" and you're ready to start competing with your colleagues!
